The average pay scale will be 14000 INR to 60500 INR, with grade pay of 8700 INR and additional allowances included.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates must be Assamese citizens with a permanent address. The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 40 years old.
The upper age relaxations will be as follows:
- OBC/MOBC: 3 Years
- ST/SC: 5 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: 2 Years
- PWD: 10 Years
The Madrasa TET and Special TET for BTAD / Sixth Schedule will not be considered in the recruitment of Graduate Teachers (Arts, Science, and Hindi) and Assamese Teachers.
Medium of instruction
For Assamese Medium School, the candidate must have passed the HSLC or equivalent test with the Assamese language as one of the subjects, or hold a diploma in that language given by the Axom Sahitya Sabha, or have studied up to the HSLC level in Assamese medium school.
Candidate for Bengali Medium School must have completed HSLC or comparable examination with the Bengali language as one of the subjects or hold a diploma in the Bengali language granted by the Barak UpatyakaBangya Sahitya O SanskritiSammelan or study up to HSLC level in Bengali Medium School.
For Hindi Medium School, the candidate must have passed the HSLC or equivalent examination with Hindi as one of the subjects, or have studied up to the HSLC level in Hindi Medium School.
Candidate for Bodo Medium School must have passed HSLC or comparable Examination with Bodo language as one of the subjects or have studied up to HSLC level in Bodo Medium School.
For English Medium School, the candidate must have completed the HSLC or comparable examination with Alternative English as one of the courses, or have studied in English Medium School from Class XI onwards. Provided, however, that to hire a teacher to teach a MIL topic, the applicant who passed the HSLC test in that subject must be prominent.
